hey there just got myself a jag. Hes being kept in a 30 gallon for the time being until finances improve, plus hes only about 2.5-3.0 inches. The little sucker just started to show a bunch of freckles and dark spots yesterday all over his body but when I threw in some ghost shrimp and a few minnows for him to grub on they disappeared. When I turned on his light this morning, they were back and they have seemed to appear and disappear throughout the day...is this his puberty? also, does it mean he is a male. I was also wondering if Black sand/gravel would be best for him to bring out his colors. Thanks

P.S- What helpful hints do you guys have for raising this sucker to be a great fish, i hope to transfer him into my store so customers have something to look at but so I'm not bored all day.
