Picked up this 9 inch jag. Boy or girl?

I thought male in the store. There was no barring on the side, only rosettes or spots. Now at home for a couple of days I'm seeing the barring. Now I'm wondering if it's a girl too.

Looks male to me. Maybe a little bit on guard because of the new surroundings and tank mates causing the spots on the side to show up.

I think female too, doesn't look like it has the purple hue that's males usually have.
