New jaguar not eating

Alright guys. So I really don't post but I picked up a 12 inch jaguar 3 days ago and I'm not sure what he eats! I totally forgot to ask, I guess the beauty of this guy just made me forget. But if someone can please give me some ideas on what to feed him. I have tried shrimp, hikari floating pellets, feeder fish. He goes ffor none. But he does stay on top waiting for food.

He's still new to the tank, give him some time.

Let him get acclimated. He just needs to get comfortable. He could go a week or more before eating.

some of my fish didnt eat for a while especially the ones i kept with other fish its just wierd and new to them new water new tank mates new surroundings give him some time he will b ok

Agree with others about giving him time. He won't let himself starve as long as he's healthy.

Def do not feed feeders that haven't been quarantined! I just made this mistake even though I should have known better and had to deal with internal parasites. Why don't you call up the person/lfs you got him from?

Once he gets through the acclumation period there probably will not be anything he doesn't eat.
