Got this new girl from Mayahsun on Friday.

So far so good.
There was some flaring and lip locking with her and my male Loisellei.
The liplocking stopped later that night and now he's just been flaring and tail slapping. THough she doesnt seem as interested as him.

Here's some pics of the first introductions.

My Oscar is always doing this. Whenever there is fighting, he will come over and break it up. Whether its between the Lois and the JD, or in this case, the Lois and the Jag, he comes over and swims right in between them.
EVERY TIME. He's the peace maker of the tank.

I didnt break out the ruler, but i would say she's about 7" not including caudal.

Today she's been hanging out in one corner. They are mostly leaving her alone, if they come over, she swims off, but they dont chase her.

She'll probably adjust in the next week or so.

u got a oscer refurey thats cool i would like to try that out in sa cichlid growout community get a big o to keep the smaller cichlids from tearing each other apart it's like the o's the big boss and u can't fight without his permission cool. good pics lol with your new jag
