I picked up three from the LFS today and I have a question. These snails are absolutely covered in algae/moss on their shells. Should I get it off or just leave it be? I have no clue what their colors are - all I can see is green. Also, any tips on food?

I would just leave the algae, if you don't mind the algae. For food, give them greens, and sinking carnivore pellets. Also a source of calcium is good. Antler pieces are a good source, or vacation feeders are also good, just check the calcium levels.
