Hi MFKers from NJ. I have a question and is Jeff Rapps' place open to the public? Can someone just go and buy fishes from the fish farm?

If so can anyone ship? His shipping costs $99 to me, even for a small package around 3-4lbs. I can ship that weight for around $50 or less to arrive in 24 hours. Thanx ahead of time.

Not sure what you mean when you say that you can ship the same weight for less but he is not open to the public.

Im clear on the OTHER side of the ocean, Pacific. I shipped many fishes to Maine, Jersey, NY, CT, for about $50 Next Day arrival. Since he's not open to the public then SCRATCH all that, Thanx anyways.

For him to ship to you then you shipping it to me, would be too much time for the fish to stress and too much cost from double shipping.

I want Andinoacara Stalsbergi thats why.

Gotcha, although I don't recall paying under fifty bucks for my orders from the west coast.I hate paying the shipping fees but sometimes someone has that fish that won't be in this area and I just have to eat the fees.Interesting sounding fish though, don't think I've seen that name before.

Yea he ships ups so of course its going to be more expensive. I have bought from him several times and when I recieve the fish I forget about shipping since the quality of the fish is top notch.

You may want to see if you can talk a few ppl into a group purchase to cut down the shipping cost to you and spread it out.......hope you get your fish :)
