I just bought two 1 inch reddevils for $5 each.I put them in a 15 gallon just for a month do u think they will be fine.

yes for a month they will be fine there but remember they grow fast.(about 1inch a month) so the faster you upgrade the better.

do you have any pics???

Ck :)

As long as you change the water every week they will be fine. 1" per month is fast though, so you will need a bigger tank. One will probably kill the other eventually.

Why are you getting more rds. You already have some and not enough big tanks.

WOW and survey SAYS!!!!!!!!.................................get bigger tank

well it wouldent make sense to buy a 100 gallon tank for 1 inch reddevils now would it:screwy:

and i am getting bigger tanks

Yeah, actually it would make perfect sense... 15 Gallon is too small for those fish even now. Would you consider buying a 55 gallon for a few months to house them before you moved up to a bigger tank? Of course not...

My advice to Mr./Mrs. Large_Cichlids and every other schmo that posts here with questions about fitting large fish in small tanks and never taking advice anyway: if you don't have the tank to put the fish in, don't buy the fish. Simple...

agreed

It would not take sense in buying a 75 gallon tank for a reddevil which is only 1 inch long.Thats stupid i could understand if the fish was 8 to 12 inches but 1 inch is over exagerating carpediem.I think u need to think before u type.:screwy:

and before u say i need to think before i buy, just to let u kno i did think and i dont plan on keeping big fish in small tanks for life:screwy:
