I picked this fella up last weekend at the LFS - they made me an offer I could not refuse :WHOA:

He is my second Asian arowana :screwy: - His certificate says Kaiju Green but he has very light coloration (orangey - pink) on his tail. :naughty:

Certificate says March -2009 from Kaiju Arowana Singapore (my first Aro was from Dreamfish - Merlion Emerald Green).

He is the exact opposite of my Merlion Green (Jumpy, and swims fast) - graceful and ate a goldfish from my hand on the first day! ;)

Sorry these pictures were taken from a nokia e51 (have it on me all the time) and are not Chaitika quality (@ Chaitika - I love your pictures).

nice! but i'd rather say no to feeder goldfish!

I need to fatten him up is the reason for the goldies - got him from thde LFS in rough shape (little sign of gill curl, and thin and hungry) - he takes 1 goldy a day :WHOA:

He is also on SW's and guppies drowned in Vita before feeding :screwy:

Sounds just like my green from Kaiju, mine still has hints of red in the fins and scales at 16"+

I know you said you want to fatten it up, but it'll bulk up well on shrimp and pellets, probably even better than feeders. You'll be kicking yourself if it starts to refuse other foods and only takes feeders. Mine gets pellets (hikari massivore and food sticks) in the morning and prawn at night, has grown from just under 6" to 16"+ in 10 months.
