hELLO TO EVERYBODY IM PLANING ON GETTING A NEW TANCK FOR THE HOLIDAYS IT WILL BE 8' BY 2' BY 2' SO THE QUESTION IS HOW MANY GAL IT WILL BE AND HOW MANY RBP CAN I KEEP

That's 300gallon...I would be 8-9 full grown adult pygo in there.

it would allow imo with reds, terns 12. with caribe about 10, and piraya 8 or so. thats comfortably though... you may be able to get some more but the more you get the fighting and deaths you will find.
all these amounts are for full grown pygo's. if you going for 1-3" you could start off with as much as 50 if you want. and sell off as you go.

You wouldn't be able to keep any. Piranhas are illegal in NY state. Seems to be a relatively recent development as a petstore in Brooklyn used to sell them when I was a child.
