New King Tiger Pleco

I just picked up this little guy on Saturday. First time I have seen one at my LFS in town. Its colors just started to darken so I decided to share

i did not mind the price even though in my opinion it was a steep $40

Its weird, I knew about it being the best hiders, and even though I have it in a grow out tank with some wood, plants and a clay pot it stays out in the open

I'd watch him closely and get some salt in that tank asap. Never a good sign when a plec that is known to hide doesn't hide. Back when I didn't know better, around 6 years ago, I got a king tiger because he didn't hide in the show tank, and he died a couple days after I got him home.

In my area they sell for anywhere between $20 and $60 all for the same size...
