Hey guys, just made a short movie of my new parrot. Pretty neat fish, I've never had one before. I picked a kkp because they have a normal mouth, the deformed mouth creeps me out and I find it cruel. Sorry it's just my opinion. This guy has lots of blue spots in its fins, maybe a good red tex breeding mate if its female. Let me know what you think.

Looks nice so far, females tend to have round bellies

Not a KKP just a normal parrot, nice one though.

Thanks, I wasn't sure if it was kkp or not. The guy had it separated because it looked different than the other parrots. It's been getting friendly with my green terror lol.

Green Terror cannot hybridize

Gotta say I'm liking it. Never had a parrot, and Never thought I would. I'm feeding him hikari bio gold, blood worms, and small feeder guppies. And his colors have really popped. With his normal mouth he can eat like a normal cichlid. Maybe my red tex is a fertile male and the parrot is female so i can try to make some new red Texas cichlids :).

Either way I'm happy with it. Getting an interactive personality. And I like the green spots in his fins. He's starting to get pearling on his body, is this normal for a parrot?? Kinda like a parrot Texas lol.
