Ordered him in as a Transparent knife, for 3 quid i couldn't resist seeing what they were..

aint he great..

I think he's a Eigenmannia Virescens, So he should grow to about 45cm eventually.

tahts a great fish i had one once..really active...and they arent aggressive at all..so good luck and keep us updated on pics...

Looks like the Eigenmanni virescens (glass knifefish) if so it can get about 14" males a bit bigger, females a bit smaller. It is one of the knife fish that can be kept in groups and spawns in captivity pretty regularly.
