Here is my new 4" L200, I'm very happy to have it! I haven't seen it eat yet, I guess it needs time to settle in.

lovely pleco!
I just upgraded the 18Gl community tank to a 90Gl this weekend, and placed a big piece of wood in it.
Theres a cave just behind the front window and my L200 chose this cave as his.
So now he's permanently displayed, instead of hiding in the back!!!
He lived with 2 polkadot-botias, and they moved to the same cave, which I think is funny!

And mine grows very slow, so your lucky with your 4 incher!
Are they as expensive where you live as over here in Holland?
i payed 45 euros for my youngster ,roundabout 2"!!!!
Worth every penny though.

Nice! Definitely one of the best Plecos I've ever had along with an Adonis.:D

Congrats on the fish!

L-200 are by far the most shy Pleco, they like to hide more than swim...

I have two piece of driftwood in my 150gallon and he manage two make 3 different caves from them...

Eating wise.. i've actually never witness my own eating... but i do know at night he swims out with my Royal Pleco and Chocolate...

very awesome deff my favorite pleco... i see mine all the time and there in a 150...by far my fav pleco good choice.

I don't know about the shy part...I guess it's up to the individual fish then. Mine is out a lot of the time. It actually comes up to the surface and takes pellets from the surface.

It was $40 Canadian, which is a great deal around here.

It hides most of the time, I haven't seen it really swim around since the day I put it in there. He has found a spot under a stump that he really likes. At least I can still see it where it lays. I'm loving it, it is a really beautiful fish! Now I want more plecos lol!:)

Do you all feed yours veggies? I did the first day but it didn't eat any, I'll try again tonight.
