I picked up a L33 about 2 weeks ago, Just after he was introduced to my tank he found a place to hide in my driftwood and he a has been there ever since. I catch a glimpse of his tail every couple of days but thats it. Not sure if he is eating? Is this normal behavior for a l333? I never had any fancy plecos before....Closest was a bristlenose.
Cheers

i have an l333 and he is super shy. i literally didnt see it for weeks once and sure enough it was still there. they are nocturnal so it should come out at night, i like to drop food in at night after the lights are off every now and then to make sure it gets food. i recently moved it into a setup with a lot of driftwood that is fairly dark and i see it a lot more than i used to in a brighter tank. if you can reduce the lighting you should see yours as well.

Ya they definitely hide alot. I have a group of 5 and they don't just come out. I see them at the back of the tank when I feed but some wait until lights out
