Guys just picked him up today. Took some pics while i was getting him into qt.

Its about 6.25 maybe 6.5 inches. Is it possible to sex ?

Better photo from top with less contrast would help. Bucket is too white. Best guess is female. They can be sexed as small as 3" in person. It's harder with photos.

That really is a nice specimen. Never grew a 600 out from small before. Wonder if they all have that darker body pattern when somewhat small. Really contrasts well with that awesome red. Not sure about male/female
