about a month ago I got one of Richs little baby leis, and hadnt posted a pic yet. Im still learning the camera, so be easy on me-
I wrapped white paper around 3 sides and the bottom, just to see how white I could get him- but the walls got algaed out quick but the lei fortunately didnt turn doodoo brown like the walls of his tank did

the barbels grow back, but they might not grow back out perfectly or the same length.

it should- but with leis their barbells are smaller and always point down- so if it doesnt regrow, youll hardly notice anyway- but it will probably grow back

Ive heard some people prick the stub with a pin to wake up the area and start growing, also cutting the good barbell to match the bad will help the barbells come evenly

the leis sure are beautiful when they are small.

they have a quiet beauty about them- nothing too loud or flashy- I also think the scarcity helps make them a bit more attractive too
