ahh yes, love new lenses. yeah, your focal range is very narrow, increasing the F-stop (aperture) will increase the focal range but you have to increase the exposure or ISO accordingly so your pics dont come out too dark but the down side is that increasing the exposure time can create blurry pics cause fish tend to be on the move + increasing ISO tends to create more noise in your pics.
 
I wanted to see how close I can take pics without losing a lot of focus. As you can see in the last pic with the flower, I'm holding that in between my fingers and that flower was smaller than my pinky nail. And I probably had that flower a couple of inches from the lens.
 
So I tried it out today...I increased the aperture and ISO, used the flash and this is what I got.:popcorn:

I'll get some soon. He's been a bit more aggressive than usual. Hard to take a close pic of him when he looks like he's about to bite my face off, lol!
