Hopefully this is in the correct area, if not please move it. Thanks.
Ok, I stopped by the new store Fish Planet at Howebout Arden, where the old Sierra Outfitters was located, its next to Chilis and Baha fresh. They opened up yesterday but didnt know until this morning. I met the owner Jon, nice guy and will to talk fish. The Place is a decent size, not as large as the new exotic location, but appears to be slightly larger than capital. They only had about a dozen tanks filled with fish but were expecting a shipment today. I picked up some NLS, they had the large size container with the second largest pellet for about $17 about $2-3 cheaper than PetClub, which I think is the cheapest place I can find NLS. They have a big display tank that will be filled with African Cichlids, that you can see from the windows on the outside of the store, still not filled with fish but has water in it, and looks like its larger than 500gal. They also have a large curved marine tank where they will be placing a shark, rough dimensions are 6ft highl, 15-20ft long, and dont know the width. Some of the prices on items are average and some of them are high, and them some are cheaper than other places. Like I mentioned not must stock right now but they seem to have loads of empty tanks and room so this could help bring in more variety and quality of fish to the area. www.fishplanet.biz
