new LFS

Not quite sure if this is the right place to post this, but I was just wondering if any of the SoCal MFK's have been to the new LFS that just opened up in El Monte? Its called Aquatic Dreamz, and they're on Peck Rd. I've been seeing their postings all over craigslist. As far as I know, they just opened up at the beginning of the month. I called them to see what their prices were on plants, and the guy that answered said almost all their plants are about $2 apiece. He also said that if there was something I was looking for that he didn't have in stock, he could special order just about anything.

If anyone has been there, what did you think? I may take a trip over there next week, and I'll post what I think.

never heard of it buts sounds like a good lfs. i might take the drive there but dam el monte is so dam far from south bay... lol

Yea, but if you wanna make a day trip outta it, you can come out to Azusa. Azusa Pets on Gladstone is cool too. The owner, Paul, is a good guy. Its really easy to kill a whole afternoon just talking with him

I know what you mean lol! I live 5 mins from Azusa Pets, but drive a diesel truck that takes like $90 to fill

well actually, I drive a civic haha. The truck is my boyfriend's but I like driving it more than my car

hahaha civics are nice too but i can imagine a truck i drove a f150 before and it was pretty fun driving such a big truck
