New Life Spectrum ingredient changes?

I just bought some new NLS h20 stable wafers today and noticed a lot of the ingredients have changed. My new batch no longer has the vegetable and fruit extract, has less vitamin D, has the addition of fish oil, and other stuff.
What's going on? Is this happening with all NLS now? Are they trying to cut costs?
Maybe I got an older batch, but I don't think so.
 
Wouldn't it make more sense to contact the company directly, and ask them? Outside of that, I'm the only person on MFK that can answer those types of questions, so good thing that I stumbled across this thread. :)

Sounds to me like you purchased a container with one of the older labels on it. There will be more label changes in the future, so next time don't panic if/when you see some tweaks on a label. :) This has nothing to do with cutting costs, actually the exact opposite. New Life has been making their own food on site for approx. the past 1 1/2 yrs & they are now making even higher quality feed than ever. The savings they are making by now purchasing their own raw ingredients, and making their own food, are being passed on to the consumer via an increase in the overall quality of the food. Lower starch content, dropping soy isolate from the food, etc.

They have also recently implemented a best before date stamp on all NLS lids.

It's the same NLS as before, just better. :)
 
I'd love to hear from NLS, but they never answer my emails. Also, I know we have the NLS Calvary on MFK, so I figured someone could answer and inform the rest of MFK.

So you're saying that even though it doesn't have the fruit and veggie extract, it's better? How?
 
If you post the email addy that you've been sending your enquiries to I'll be happy to look into that for you. Emails are never ignored, but there could be a technical issue that's taking place.

As far as the Calvary, there's only me, myself, and I. :)

All of the wafers contain the fruit & vegetable extract, but some of the containers that are currently in circulation may have older labels on them.
It's going to take a while until all of the food has the most current labels.
What size of container is this?
