So I went out today to find some new life spectrum that can be used to be fed on most tropicals...and got one...but why I really wanted to buy one is to see if their can be a color change of intensity of my growing umbee's and other cichlids by feeding them this twice a day...but still give out a varied diet... So has anyone have any experience with their umbee's having better coloration by feeding them New Life Spectrum pellets and give them other pellets and other assortments...?

Wouldn't know... I'v only had the ones I have... So I couldn't tell ya if mY spectrum has made them more intense... I know the rest of my fish are that way ;)

oh i see...well i'll just wait and see if anyone else has had their umbee's change in intensity in coloration from the New Life Spectrum

my umbee actually colors up way more off of prawns, shrimp and mysis.
new life is just a staple.
although, my female did become brighter when i changed my fish from hikari.

Oh i see...i guess i have to start feeding mines raw shrimp again lol...but when I was feeding a pellet to one of my larger umbee's it didn't like it much or iono...i was thinking that the 5mm pellet was too hard for it to crush...but im just not sure because it keeps spiting it back out like after it finishes its 1st NLS pellet
