Was using a 48" Beamworks LED, first gen. Upgraded yesterday to a Coralife Dual T5 fixture. (1) 10,000k and (1) Colormax.

Huge difference in colors! I love it!

Pictures don't do the justice, but here are a few that I took.

First of all - congrats!

Sorry but I dont understand how do they get along. Geophagus & Retroculus vs. Polleni & Madagascar?? it's like david and goliath. :irked:

I don't understand either. It just works. The only friction in the tank is within the menarambo juvies.

The altifrons and xinguensis are in there temporarily until their tank is ready.

I'm using two 36" beamworks led's on my 150g and the color just isn't there so I might switch back to T5 also.

glad to see it wasn't just me being picky.

Yea, I think the Beamworks early models and the regular freshwater models aren't as bright compared to other LED Doublebrights. I know these Coralife's use more wattage, but I don't think its bad considering the output.

Nice, was curious as to what you've been keeping. You got a topic/forum of what you are keeping? I like those Earth eaters.

What's up, Sonny. Just what you see there and my male umbee. Oh and I'm growing out some chanchos too. ;-)
