New Lima seems sick.

Fishing in Wisconsin
Hi, just got a new Lima Shovelnose, he's about 8 inches long, but he's swimming not too well. Like he's off balance or something. He has a small cut on his nose and he has a little discoloration on the top of his head. Also his fins have gotten a little tattered looking since he got home, I'm not sure if that is what fin rot looks like or not. The only thing he is with is a couple of small peaceful cichlids.
Any help appreciated.
 
For treatment, I added some quick cure. and a half dose of salt. I haven't seen him eat yet, but he's only been here for 2 and a half days, so I wasn't too worried.
 
Nevermind, dead as a doornail this afternoon. Too bad, the 5 hour ride must have been too much for him. This is the first fish I have lost in 9 months.:irked::irked::irked::(

I am not happy...:swear:

Got it from Wurm at the store he works at during the Midwest meet this weekend. I won it actually. So no refund needed, just sucks that it didn't make it.



I was really happy to find it since I never see lima's down here. Oh well, pics to come within the next 2 hours.
 
Damn redtail that sucks! If I get a chance to meet up with you again, we have them at a LFS here and I could bring one with for ya.
