Im dont really like catfish have only owned 2 in my 5or so years of fishkeeping i personally thing theyre ugly fish except a few (no offence), but thats one fine looking fish mate wouldnt mind having that myself! Congrats on the pickup hope youll have it for a long time :)

yeah...I don't really like cats much other then Tigrinus and Lince...this is my first Lince and have been in search of one for over 5 years now...I like them as they don't "sit" around....they swim like sharks ....never stop swimming ...and love the spotting on them.....similar to Tig's other then tigs sit around often except when lights are off but Tigs' stripes are out of this world....

high cost is due to the the high risk of death during shipping as they required a large quantity of water volume during shipping...shipping is usually 50% of the cost of the fish. Although i got my Lince from my supplier's place to my house (5hours) in a regular size sytroform fish box, the box he got the lince shipped from Brazil was big enough to house a golden retriever.

also my understanding is there really isn't a known place to catch lince since they are migratory fish or said to be....still being said they are in line with pricing of Tigrinus though...
