I am looking to find out what amount of salt can be put in the tank to kill the snails but not kill my bass. The snails in there are the little tiny black ones that are like a virus. Any one know?

So here is my new 125 gallon fish tank.

125 gallons
oak stand
4 lights
Rena XP4 canister filter
Cascade 1000 canister filter
200lbs of med gravel
Custom under gravel filter (Power heads not yet hooked up)
small air pump
Lots of large and med plastic plants
a few live plants

The salt is likely to kill your plants before your snails. If snails are overpopulating it means there is too much food- uneaten fish food, algae, or dead plant matter. Cut the food source to keep them under control. You can also remove snails by adding lettuce leaves or slices of zucchini as bait. Just leave it in until there are lots of snails on it and then remove bait and snails together.

I've been using algaefix to control the algae blooms in my tank and it killed my clams and snails in my tank, i didn't read on the back that it would kill em
