So I tried to have a group around 4months ago and lost the little ones to ich and what I suspect the meds I used.

The lone survivor has been ok but I wanted to try another group so I picked up three more small ones and inspected the crap out of them. They are in a tank with angels and cardinal tetras all the fish are new so its basically a nice quarantine tank. The day after i got them I noticed one had a few spots now he has around 3 I bumped the temp up to 87 and slowly am adding salt...1 table spoon per 10 gallons (55gal) all the fish seem fine even the sick ine eating and swimming all over the tank any help is appreciated I really want a group of cl's but its seems doomed

Anything else I should do ?

I'd say stick with the salt and high temperature, they're so sensitive when you first get them; I didn't have good experiences with medication with them.

I'm looking to get a group soon, you can pretty much guarantee I will get whitespot, I hate that about loaches, clowns in particular

Also I'd do a tablespoon for every 5 US gallon.
