i think the new colour sand makes the fishes colours more vibrant and gives the tank an overall better look. hope you enjoy comments welcome! :D

very nice, love it. surprised those dats havent been eaten by that ck though.

the CK is a big softy lol - he loves his massivore and prawns - i keep him well fed and he has never had live food before - also there are plenty of hiding places for the lil guys

im trying to grow up the dats a bit quicker by hiding massivore in prawns as you can see in the second vid - tried starving them but i broke before they did lol

Yeah, thats what I did with my dats too! For some reason they are not to happy about massivores until they get a bit bigger.

very nice, the fish look very good, especially the bichirs. Looks a little bit crowded with all of them. Are those real plants or fake?

plants are real - i dont think its that crowded tbh - looks a little crazy as i threw a bit of food in there - normally i would spread the food out but i had one hand on the camera lol

i will be upgrading in the new year to a much larger tank and want to lose the sevs (they munch my plants) but the wife wont have it - she likes clourful fish and unfortunately doesnt share my enthusiasm for monster fish - "they are boring" - im contemplated a divorce when she said that lol

I know what that's like... I'm holding on to two overgrown feeder comets that have taken over one of my tanks because my wife say's they're nice because they're colorful.

I have had severums munch on the java fern just as it seems you have, but the sev will not touch my amazon swords. although you can't grow those on driftwood. and I know anubias, another plant that grows on driftwood, the new soft leaves will always get eaten as well... Oh well.

they may randomly "die" and i may misteriously end up with some extra cash in my pocket :naughty: - "sorry honey but i woke up this morning and they were floating. dont think ill be able to get anymore as they will be too small and get eaten....." :D
