I just picked one up for Christmas for a few bucks...it's only about 4 inches so far, but he loves these Omega 1 pellets and eats like a pig. This is my 1st polypterus so I don't know much about them. Can you fill me in on Max size and average growth rate, and should I be feeding him something besides cichlid pellets, krill and smushed peas/lima beans? (not even sure if he eats them, but veggies are good for SA/CA cichlids so I give the tank's inhabitants veggies twice a week.)

Seen some online. But not seen albino long fin yet.
