I got my new Lungfish about a week ago. (P. Dolloi) In the first few days he ate pellets like he was starving. (I say he but who knows, heh.) He liked them before the water absorbed so he ate more than he should have. Needless to say, they expanded in his tummy. You can see that they have. I'm waiting to see if he poo's, but it seems that his bum now has bulged a bit. He was pooing fine before he ate so much. I now know where to limit him on his food intake, but I'm worried. I will upload a pic soon, but for now could anyone give me a bit of incite? Is there anything more I should include? Thank you any and all who reply!! :]
New Lungfish Problems

The lungfish should be fine unless it ingested something other than the food. What type of substrate and decorations do you have with it?
I have a river stone type gravel, a built rock cave for my pl*co, a man made log for him to hide in along with a few plastic plants. I'm hoping he hasn't eaten a piece of gravel for some reason.. what could be done if he has?

I don't know if anything can be done if it has ingested gravel. My three lungfish make sure to spit out the gravel if they accidentally pick some up with their food, so I've never had any trouble with gravel being ingested.
