These guys are really easy to breed so this is a great species to try out. But it's a good idea to keep the male separate from the females until they're at the correct age and weight to breed. Cresteds in captivity can breed at a much earlier age than they should and they WILL breed, trust me. It's best to wait until they're about 16-18 months old before attempting it.
