Thought you might like this new guy, Chloe...

Picked this guy up on Monday. He seems to be in fairly good spirits, although the previous owner says he has quite the attitude.

Didn't notice, till I'd uploaded them, that the old lady got a nice shot of my bald head. lol

Epic.

awww he looks soppy as anything lol shame that their lav fades as they get bigger.

im contemplating getting a male....the reason i havnt is because i know they get huge....but i already have the burm and 4 boas....anaconda will b on its way soon....so i might aswell just bite the bullet and get one.

do u mind me asking how much he set u back?
they sell for around 500GBPS here for a hatchling. about 5k for a dwarf.
strangely enough never seen an adult for sale.

Actually, the Lavender grows darker, as they age but the crappy thing is that camera flash washes out the true color...with Purples, as well. This guys Lavender is dark enough, I've had some ask me if he is, in fact, a purple.

Pricewise, it's hard to say. I traded for him and I came out, with the better deal, to be honest.

You can pick up a Lavender hatchling for a few hundred dollars. A Lavender Tiger can set you back $400 - $600+.

The market, in the US, is really down right now. Snakes are going for cheap and the really expensive ones aren't up for sale, as much, because breeders don't want to take too big of a hit.

I'm getting ready to trade off my Super Dwarf, double het, who's valued at around $4,000 for a male Platinum, 100% het albino, who's only valued at around $2,500. I'm doing so because I'll see a bigger return, breeding wise, from the Platty, in a much shorter time frame.

really? any large ones iv seen over here the lav just fades....hmmm maybe they r trying to fob me off with albinos lol
yea. when i went to florida there was a bloke selling a blood python, breeding weight female for 60bux....over here they r still going for around 300.

it hasnt gone down pricewise as much, just people rnt selling unless they cant afford them anymore.
im selling my corns and royals purely so i can put more time and effort in to the boa and burms, but im selling them at what i paid for them which is nothing as i bought them from a breeder who was going out of the hobby and just wanted rid.
iv got one corn up for about 15bux...over here that reeeeeeally cheap. shops sell them for about 100bux just for a normal lol its silly.
