Picked up an 8-9" male motoro and had a question about the amount of food they should be getting because of their metabolism. So far its been getting a small handful of massivore and other high protein pellets in the morning and a mix of fish fillets, shrimp, and crab in the evening (usually the equivalent of 3-6 whole shrimp in terms of amount). Is this a sufficient and/or an appropriate diet for him?
another question. Is it normal for rays to be absoloutely fascinated with the bubbles from airstones? He plays with the airstone itself as well as swims up to the top and splashes in the buildup of bubbles at the surface. The tank has plenty of oxygen so i don't think that's why he's doing it.
