Just got a large 18" Mantilla Stingray male and he keeps on swimming upside of the tank walls all the time. Is this normal? Sorry because I am a newbie to stingrays and still learning. He is currently the only stingray with three other medium size peacock basses all sharing a 480 gallon 8'x4'x2'. Are Mantilla large species? What are their favorite diet? I plan to get him a mate, what other type or rays going best with him?

Thanks so much!!!

Here is a picture of him:

Kind of weird that he does this all day long, I thought something was wrong? Thanks man!

I sold this ray to kingorock. It was sold to me as a mantillaxmarble motoro and that's what I sold it to him as. I have no idea why he sold it as a mantilla, but just wanted to clarify that.

This ray loved to be up on the glass. It also loved to try to mate smaller females, by the way, so watch out.

He also looks a little skinny since I moved him out a few weeks ago. Please make sure that this ray is getting plenty of food-- I fed shrimp, tilapia, massivore, nightcrawlers.

He's a monster he was eating about 15 massivore and 3/5 pieces of.shrimp everyday... No way he's skinny at all.... I said he was crossed
