heres my mbu puffer I got him about 3 weeks ago from my lfs. Dont be posting messages saying that this fish will grow huge and how hes gonna need a bigger tank ( i know that) this fish is in a 77gallon tank for now. I only plan on keeping him for a year at most then someone will be taking him from me for 4X what i paid. this fish takes for ever to adapt to a tank up untill an hour ago he would only eat snails. i just had him eat a frozen prawn so after 3 weeks hes finally coming around. he likes to sit at one side of the tank and just watch the rays in the 180g thats beside it.

good luck on the 4x amount. get him some tank mates. maybe a pacu and redtail cat. maybe a pima too.

constructive lol. Nice pictures I really like MBUs. Is he by himself/considered tankmates?

you are right, that was harsh of me. for your info grim. you will spend 4x the $ on food alone. i have a 18" and got him when he was 3-4" from phull. i would recomend getting tanks mates asap, or he'll never accept tank mates in the future. i have mine with 4" azules, 3" widebar, 2.5" thinbar, small wolf fish etc.... get ready for water changes
however, i'm sure you'll want to keep him after a while.
