New Melanurus/Synspilus from Cichlid Connection

you may be surprised later that it is a female.unless they vented it for you,at that smaller size it would be 50/50.even venting,some get that wrong
 
Thats really nice. I have a pair and the femalr is the same size as urs. They show a ton of blue where urs is yellow. I have a large pair 10+ that have the same yellow as urs. Its cool to see the differance in variation. Heres a pic of my blue one.

Just beautiful man. Cant wait to see it when its big.
 
Really nice syn. He's going to be an amazing adult, which it shouldn't take long.

yes all the fish i get from Gage @ cichlid connection i have vented. Im trying a technique to cut down on aggression and collecting all males. Im hoping its male but even if it turns out to be female i wouldnt complain.

Can i ask you what makes you think its female just by looking at it at this small size?

pic did not attach! repost it! haha i love blue in fish. specially in the fins so im ecstatic with the finnage on this guy. I started MFK being a cichla guy so yellow/blue/green combos tend to be my favorite
