Hello fellow MFK members!
I've already done some posting around the site trying to rehome a 12" pink colored giant gourami (lemme know if you're interested), but I never really introduced myself properly
My name is Sarah I live in La Crosse, Wisconsin where I am a 5th year student at the University of Wisconsin La Crosse. I am majoring in Biology with an Environmental Science Concentration and minoring in Geographic Information Science.
As much as I LOVE fish I am just maxed out with tanks in my 4 bedroom apartment. I don't know how my three female roomates put up with my obsession
I am the proud owner of a 100 gallon tank filled with african cichlids and a 55 with mostly south american cichlids (and a green sunfish and a Mono sebae (yeah he's going to brackish soon)). I also have a 40 gallon tank with the giant gourami in it, but it's at my boyfriend's house. Lastly I have a 29 and a 37 gallon tank with convict babies in the 29, and young south american cichlids and community fish (bala shark, tetras, threadfin rainbow, gouramis). I will work on getting some pictures up soon!
I find it really hilarious how there are posts on this site about how you can get your girlfriend/wife to let you have tanks and I happen to be the girlfriend with all the tanks trying to get the boyfriend to let me have a bajillion tanks!
