I am a some what new member here at Monsterfish, it's a great website with lots of information on everything aquarium and fish related, it is amazing how much information I got from here when I started to setup my 50 gallon diamond shaped aquarium, so I have decided to post some pictures of my current aquariums. I have a 40 Gallon tall tank as a community tank it has:2 gouramis, 4 neon tetras, 1 chinese algea eater that was born in a previous tank I had, 3 Platy's, and 2 Sword tails. In my 50 Gallon diamond shaped tank I have 2 I.D. Sharks, 2 Pictus catfish, and I just got 2 garpikes in the tank last week. This 50 gallon is my first try at aquascaping and I think I did a good job. The theme was natural setting like in a lake or river. Tell me what you think or you would do in it, your help is greatly appreciated. I have also did a DIY filter for it, it is biult into the rock water fall in the back of the tank.

007.gifwelcome to mfk.. nice to meet you... i think the best looking tanks have white sand.. i have all different gravel colors in my tanks due to having them around the past 10 years.. but the few i changed to white sand look the best in my opinion..brightens everything up..otherwise nice set up and fish. And truthfully regardless of what anyone says.. tanks are individual as each person that puts it together.. so honestly you are the one who really matters..
