what's up ya'll? haven't had too much time but I have browsed a bit. I do a lot of fishing down here. Flats fishing, offshore, and freswater fishing for peacock bass, largemouth, etc. So where should I post my fishing reports? I saw a section labeled Fishing Forum so I suppose it would be there.

Oh and I'm a big beer drinker!!!!!!!!!!!!:headbang2 almost left that important detail out.

welcome!

nothing beats a 4-5lb pbass on the end of your line, welcome

you're right. we haven't had any cold winters in a few years so the Peacock have really flourished and I've seen some in the 10# range, believe it or not. I love south florida!!! wootwoo!!!!!!!!!!!

Welcome HialeahAngler!

I strongly believe that the Cichla sp. in FL are hybrids of Cichla Monoculus and Cichla ocelaris but I heard that they have some of the Cichla temensis blood mixed in them as well but of course that has been more disolved than the blood lines of the other 2 species.. I don't think the wild Cichla Monoculus and Ocelaris from South America grow as big as the ones in South FL.

Who knows maybe someday Cichla temensis may return to South Florida ;)
