Hi all,
Im a new member of your nice little site. I have been out of the fish keeping hobby for a few years since I started to "Refinish" my basement. Maybe someday I'll get off my butt and finish the job so I can set my tanks back up again. In the past I have kept two seperate 55 gallon aquariums. My first and favorite was my african cichlid tank which was overfiltered and kept 16 adult cichlids and whatever fry could survive. The tank was a beauty and could be seen from the big window in front of my house. I have had people knock on my door and ask if they could come in and look at it. Ackward but a compliment none the less. I also had a 55 gallon with 2 oscars, 1 pacu, a jack dempsey and a very hungry channel cat. Tank was only set up for 6 months before I moved so the fish never got a chance to outgrow it. I wish they would have because then I would have been forced to upgrade. I like the fishkeeping hobby and I will be building a large tank for the basement once all the important things are finished. I did have the foresight to lay the basment out to accomadate a large (300-500Gal) tank. Someday, somehow. Anyways, glad to be a member here, look forward to hopefully contributing in the future. Thanks.
I haven't been a member of a message board since I was "addicted" to internet poker so it might take a bit for me to remember etiquette and what not.
