After seeing red tailed cats in the petstore for sale to your average 10 gal tankowner, I spotted a fish today that really worried me. It was silver with black on some of its fins but looked identical to P. gigas in body style/shape. I thought, 'could people actually be importing these?' (Allthough I think they're endangered) I hope I'm wrong. Are there any fish currently in the trade that look very similar?

Sadly...a lotta LFS still sell monster fish to unexperienced/uneducated hobbyists.....its a loosing battle.
