Hello to all my fellow members.

I have been a hobbyist for over 20yrs and enjoyed years of caring for African cichlids.

It was about 3yrs ago that I got the bug and never looked back. I went to a LFS and I purchased these fish. He said they were in the cichlid origin known as peacock bass. They were al juvie size 3-4inchs at best.

I got 12 and from what I know they were 6 temenis, 3 monos, 2 ocsellis 1 gold kelberis

I put them in a 55g tank and outgrew it to a 90g and I was so hooked on how beautiful and big these Bass can get I separated the groups and I got a 220G and 2-125G.

My Bass were growing especially my Temenis group. I decided to make an emotional decision recently after 3yrs almost to thin out my collection. I sold 3 of my Temenis.

I have sold my 125g tanks and I am now keeping 2 - 220G tanks both with 2- FX5 and the other has 2- FX6 filters

My goal is to have one of the best collection in my city as not many fish keepers I know carry or have the tank size to manage these big Bass.

I would like to create a chat line for all those that live in Toronto or anwhere in Canada s I do not have any friends in the monster fish keeping hobby.

I say hello to all you fellow members and please email me your contact information if you live in Toronto Canada or USA. I want to see your pictures and what collection tank size you all old.

I will try and upload pictures soon.

Be most wellcome!

You came to the right place.

No need to chat. Just check the Cichla forum. All the crazies, worldwide, are in there...:)
