Just wanted to say pumped to join MFK. Been into fish for a long time but just recently picked up the hobby and grew the balls to try and raise some monster fish.

But anyway, i want to see if it would be more cost affective to make a 750 gallon tank (Correctly, dont worry im not gonna flood the house) or buy one.

I'd suggest going to the DIY subforum and posting this question. You will probably have more luck.

Also, welcome to MFK!

There is a cost savings in building larger tanks (but not smaller ones). However, you have to consider your time and the end result that you are looking for. When you consider used tanks, the cost savings of building one pretty much dissappear.

Pretty sure this was in another subforum when I posted this. If not then these pain killers are working better than I thought they were. :nilly:
