Hi, I just thought I would introduce myself. I am from Ohio and just got back into fish keeping again. I grew up with a few tanks. I always kept cichlids (Managuense, Dempsey, Firemouth, Red Devil, Green Terror, Pacu, Jewel,Oscar) and a lot of Piranha's (Black and Red Belly) and also had a few Red Snakehead.

I just went out this past weekend and bought a 125g aquarium. It came with 4 Red Belly Piranha (ranging from 10"-13" long). Yesterday I took the Piranha to the pet store and traded them in (they only gave me $7 each, I was not happy about that but oh well) on:

1 Managuense, (2) Green Terror's, 1 Jack Dempsey, 1 Firemouth, and 1 Pacu

All are about 1"-2" long.

Here is a picture of the temporary set up. I'm still using the old set up from the guy I bought it from, so this tank will change in the near future.

I just wanted to say "HI". I enjoy the site and enjoy the knowledgeable people here.

What that is crazy that is all you got for them you could aleast get 90 bucks here for them but its ok they have a great market place here
 
I thought it was crazy too. About 20 years ago, I had 3 RBP's ranging from 8-10" and I got 20 each and then the Black Piranha was 10-12" and I got 40 for him.

I called one aquarium shop and they told me they'd take them off my hands, but wouldn't give me anything. I was like, WTF? Are you serious? So you want me to just give you 4 huge, beautiful Piranhas?:screwy: LMAO!:ROFL: So do alot of other people! Freaks...
