Hi, I'm new here, but not new to monster fish keeping.
Been in the hobby for 20+ years. Live in Springboro OH, just south of Dayton. (who else goes to Gerber's?) First fishtank was a 20H with a Jack Dempsey and a Neetroplus Nematopus. The Nemo was beating up on the Jack.
Been through more tanks than i care to remember. Now setting up a 55 for a single Electric Blue Jack Dempsey. Also setting up my rack for a breeding program (unknown as of yet). I'll post pics soon, just moved, so thing are still being unpacked.

I'm new too! Just didn't feel like starting yet another thread for an intro. I've been trolling (quietly under the bridge) for over 6 months just reading and researching. Decided to join so I can reply now and then. Especially to buy stuff! :-)

So, the quick and dirty "about me": 32 y.o. married with pets (dog, 3 cats, and of course fish!). Little tank:65 gal acrylic with 2 dempseys and 2 plecos.
Big (for now) tank: 150 glass with about 10 dempseys, 2 ginormous red belly pacus, pleco, and red tail shovelnose cat.

I'm on the lookout for an inexpensive 450+ gal tank. Must be at least 30"W and 30"H. Prefer 96"L but might settle for 72". Let me know if you see something!! My wife keeps me too busy to scour the classifieds as much as I'd like to.
