New Midas Cichlid

Hello, I have a 4inch midas cichlid who is very very dark orange, like as dark as the a regular goldfish, my question is will it eventually lighten or darken when maturing, i know that flowerhorns and other cichlids can, have they ever for you before?

Yes. He should change slightly or drastically.
