New Midas

100% surely male. And he does not have a Midas face. Amphilophous; these guys are always front and center unlike most other boring sissy fishes.

I think he's a Midas. Not red devil.. The whole Midas is there just the mouth a lil different but there will be subtle differences in every fish..

And at the end of the day it doesn't matter what we think really.

Look like the F1s from J. Rapps; I've seen those F1s from Freshwaterpredator and Xinchovac posted .. Got the head structure and snout like that.

Interesting...I got this guy from Absolutely Fish here in NJ. Not sure if they get their stock from J Rapps, but think they might. They tend to be a pretty reputable store and do differentiate rd's from midas in their tanks. Either way I'm really happy with this fish. Ive wanted a humpy rd/midas for a long time and I think he shows promise. Great personality too. Thanks for all your comments! I'll continue to post updates.
