New midas

I just picked up 4 Midas cichlids today between 1-3inch. They will be going into a 48l,30h,24w tank with a pair of severums and a pair of 5inch oscars. and when the midas grow i will get rid of the others and just have a pair of Midas in there. I'll post some picks up soon.

the tank's alot bigger than a 55, at least 130 gallons, the fact is not that the amount of gallons is bad, it's the footprint of the tank, but if he wanted to, he could get away with a pair in there with nothing else

your tank holds around 125 gals before displacment thats enough room for a pair of midas with nothing else

thats gonna be a crazy war if its a pair of midas and a pair of oscars in there. and @ 5" how do you know thair a pair? oscars wil kinda pall around till one day they decide not to anymore i dont think you be able to determine if their a pair untill at least a year...but dude you gotta get a tank that size for each "pair" you have. i think youll like the way they behave alot better too... just my opinion though

I already know somebdoy who wants these oscars when their bigger and i do have other tanks that i can put them into. and thats what i want to keep ion my tank in the end, a pair of Midas.
