Surely will!

One can never resist when it comes to midevils, midas and all those. I almost couldnt resist stealing someones midevil yesterday, miguel can vouch why i almost urger myself to steal.

I picked up a Midevil last week from the LFS...it was an impulse buy cause I've always wanted one for my pred tank and as a bonus I'd love for it to be female and get knocked up by my male Tex.
It is definitely a little dick...it went into a 30 grow-out with a baby Jag and a little Bleekeri and instantly challenged them for the tank. It and the Jag are about the same size (2.5") and are always at eachother throught the day with no real winner, just a big show.
I picked up a pretty little Festae yesterday and we moved the tanks and fish around...officer Oscar went into the bigboy tank and is doing well but the big Jag and Kraussi take occassional nips at it just to show who's tank it is...and ironically the tank really belongs to our big 10" Dempsey but he could care less about the Oscar.
So the baby Jag, Midevil, Festae, Bleekeri and Polleni are in the 55 grow out with eachother and all is well for the moment save for waking up to the B-Jag with one of our 1.5" dither Barbs in it's mouth...eyeless and stiff.
The B-Jag and Midevil still go at eachother when one gets too close to the other. They both take little nips at the Festae but nothing serious and the two Paratilapia own the tank at this point until their new one is ready. The Polleni is clearly dominant over everything but only chases and threatens, never really gets nasty unless another fish gets cocky back...then that Polly will have that Midevil, Jag and Bleeki swimming back to their caves in high gear lol!
So far the little Festae is very well behaved and causes no trouble other than nipping Barbs as they go by. It was the most aggressive one in it's tank at the LFS and that's why I chose it...because it has to be able to survive with the B-Jag and MD and it is a little smaller than both so I figured getting one that was a little more aggressive would increase it's odds...?
It has totally chilled out in my tank but all the fish in there are only in the 1.5" - 3" range so who knows what kind of personalities they're all gonna have when older?
We'll see...
