The other day at work, we got in a new shipment of live rock from the Caribbean and found this in one of the boxes:
I found out she's a Neogonodactylus oerstedii, AKA rock mantis. She's about 2" and should get another 1/2" to an 1" larger. I had a 10 gallon Metaframe sitting waiting for some shell dwellers. A little rearranging and adding some salt and live rock, and I now have my second salt tank and my first mantis shrimp. I can't wait for her to get comfortable in her new tank and start coming out more.
