I'm new to fish keeping! I was introduced this summer to Piranha keeping after a friend of mine showed me the piranhas that were for sale in the pet store he worked for. I was like, What?!! You can keep those!?! And it just went from there XD I've been researching tons of different types of monster fish since that day, and even though I don't actually own any yet, I have been cycling a small 35 gallon tank for a little over a month in the hopes I can raise some Piranha Fry, and I've got a 125 gallon tank waiting for them once they're big enough ( 2- 2 1/2" I think?)
I also have a 75 gallon tank set aside because I've been looking at eels (I love them! they're like underwater snakes!), but I'm sort of feeling overwhelmed by the idea of keeping a saltwater tank (I've heard it's pretty hard), so that's put on hold for awhile...
I joined monsterfishkeepers because I wanted somewhere to go to talk to other owners for the sake of my 'to-be' pets. I haven't been able to find a decent article on the aquarium set-up of a Snowflake eel yet
Well, thanks for listening to me ramble
I'm glad there is a community here for people who love these types of fish!
